Antarctica by Kite Buggy!

Posted on the 03 November 2011 by Exceedpossibility @exceedpossible
I received an e-mail yesterday from Hans Wijnand about his upcoming (2013) attempt to cross Antarctica by Kite Buggy with team mate, and brother in law Jacob. This expedition is attempting to become the first to cross the icy continent by kite buggy as well as hoping to become the longest expedition using this form of transport, as well as posting the furthest traveled within 24 hours.
'The expedition team will climate friendly trans-cross The Antarctic Continent in two innovative purpose-built kitebuggies (using Wind, Solar and bio-fuels). With this unique expedition we want to inform children (and adults stay focused) about Climate Change and clean (drinking) water'
