Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We hung out around the house, ran some errands, squeezed in a few workouts, and watched Johnny Football's debut in the NFL. Overall, it was pretty low key, but very nice.
Saturday, was Annabelle's one month birthday! I cannot believe she is already 1 month old. A baby truly is the most amazing blessing, and I didn't know my heart could hold so much love. She brings so much joy (and a little bit of exhaustion) to every single day. It is absolutely crazy how much she has changed in just 1 month! Slow down lady, slow down!
A lot has changed in just a month. She learned to love bath time! She wasn't a big fan of sponge baths but now that she can go in the big girl tub (in her baby seat) she loves it.
She makes noise all day long; while she's eating, playing, having her diaper changed, and even sleeping. She has a lot to and will not let you forget she is the star of the show! Grunting is definitely her favorite way to communicate.
She doesn't like sleeves any more than Mommy and Daddy do, and she loves showing off her muscles. However, she is not such a big fan of the flash that went off when we took this picture!
She loves her playmat! Her little legs kick, kick, kick the entire time and she stares at the toys hanging from the play mat very intently.
Tummy time, on the other hand, is a different story. She usually gets pretty frustrated unless Daddy donates his tummy for tummy time of course. That is always way more fun!
We love our morning walks with Mommy unless it gets too hot, which is all the time lately! Annabelle usually checks out the world for the first lap around the neighborhood and then snoozes for laps 2 and 3.
We have quite the model on our hands! Most of the time, she is pretty patient with Mommy while I snap 8,000 pictures of her per day. I think my phone is about to be a capacity! I just don't want to miss a single moment.
Not surprisingly, she is just as much a Ninja Baby on the outside as she was on the inside. Sweet Annabelle was an extremely active baby in my tummy, and is twice as active now that she has room to spread out. Unless she is eating or sleeping (and really not even during thise times), this wiggle worm in NEVER still. Snuggling moments are a rariety, but as a hyper person myself, I can't blame her. There is just too much to do!
And last, but not least, I just can't get enough of those blue eyes and chubby cheeks! I stare at them in awe all day long!
Oh, how the month has flown as I've gotten to know this precious bundle of joy. We are starting to find our groove but every day is still somewhat of a new adventure as she grows and grows. Motherhood truly does change every single fiber of your body for the better, and I love this tiny human more and more every day!
In health,
