More than 11.000 kilometers. 20 countries. Hundreds of pictures. And now we are back in our apartment. We have been to so many strange places where we very quickly felt at home and now this place in Brussels seems so … strange.
But we are also proud. Notwithstanding some financial issues and health problems, we were able to realize our dream. A dream we had been talking about for 2 years and that we couldn’t realize last year. And now we have done it! It took some patience and a lot of hard work and economizing, but we have succeeded!
With pride comes happiness. We feel extremely happy, not only because we realized our dream, but also because we have been to some many places that were a lot more beautiful than we could ever have imagined. We shared many laughs and were in awe for the wonders of nature, culture and history. We made new friends, tasted new food and drinks. We shared some very romantic moments. We felt like children, when splashing in the waves of the Albanian sea.
In the next few days, this blog will come alive again. We need some time to “digest” everything that we have seen and experienced. And to edit all the pictures! We have simply so many things to share with you!

- For those people, who thought we were crazy when we announced that we were going to Albania: you don’t know what you are missing! And besides, we are proud about being crazy!
- I have 3 working days and then a long weekend with an important party. We’ll be on the road again and we are already planning our next trips and excursions for the rest of this year and next year.
And for our old and new followers: our appetite for travel has become even BIGGER! Lars and I continue to travel until we die! And blog about it
