First, let me thank the people who gave Divassence! a professional makeover. Ghayathri, who you all know as a writer of Divassence! is the backbone behind this entire new look. It was her idea, her execution and her work one hundred percent. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to her. I have zero knowledge in coding and all the necessary knowledge that goes into creating a site and thank God for Ghayathri without whom this wouldn't have been possible!! It all started off when she sent me a mail with a document consisting of Divassence!'s statistics and what needs to be improved. It was so touching to see how much people value Divassence! and I'm truly blessed to have such people around me. My heartfelt thanks to Siva Nandini and Janani who helped whenever they could and truly I'm honored to see how much they value the blog. Thank you girls for everything. :)
Now, let me take you through the changes that have been made. I might sound like a tourist guide but hey, all in good intentions!! Hop on! ;)
- First and foremost, we've replaced our usual static header with a slider and when you click on any of the slides it would take you to the category it represents.
- The navigation bar was created keeping in mind easy accessibility to various reviews and segments on the blog. So the navigation bar on top of the slider consist of the usual Contact Us, Featured In etc. while the one below the slider has various categories which would help you find reviews of your choice.
- The sidebar looks a lot cleaner now and it has a "Search by Brands", Search By Authors" option so that there is easy accessibility to read reviews according to a specific topic.
- We have separate buttons for Facebook, Twitter, Networked Blogs, Bloglovin', Pinterest and G+ page in the sidebar and just in case you like any of our posts, do not forget to check the little bar on the left of each post where you can like and share the post on various social networking sites.
