Our next destination at the Bodensee was Lindau:

Lars and I had reached the eastern side of the lake, which meant we first had to cross the Swiss-Austrian border and then the Austrian-German one. Lindau itself is not only a town, but also an island, which is connected to the mainland via a bridge and a railroad. It is quite a popular destination: the town is full with historic buildings.
But we did like most other people did – for once! Lars and I went to the harbor entrance, which is famous for its lighthouse and the Bavarian Lion sculpture. In the meantime the sun had come back. There were a lot more people about and since temperatures rose to a very agreeable 24°C, we could take our sweaters off. It suddenly felt like summer again!
