And I Feel Like Some Bird of Paradise.

By Jr
It's Friday.
It's Halloween weekend. How excited are you?!

And I feel like some bird of paradise.

Here I am at The Gaiety, a couple of bourbons in.

My plans for the spooky celebrations have changed, and I wont be visiting my beloved Derry for the festivities this coming Wednesday.  My make up kit and I shall be in Dublin, attending one party and one show. The party is tonight, and I only have to walk two minutes and I'm home again to clean my brushes for The Rocky Horror Picture Show, in The Sugar Club, on Saturday.  Can't wait to get backstage and soak up all that energy!  After that I have a portfolio to put together and a photo shoot on Monday, leading up to an interview on Thursday.  I don't think I'll sleep at all this coming week.  (Not that I really sleep anyway..."I'll sleep when I'm dead", as they say.  Whoever they are)
It wont all be make up and backstage mayhem though.  In between all the hustle, my mama and I will be hitting The Abbey Theatre, to see Neil Bartlett's adaptation of Oscar WIlde's The Picture Of Dorian Grey.  Last week I went along to see Rupert Everett play Oscar Wilde in The Judas Kiss, with my housemate G.  I had been to a bloggers brunch with DublinTown earlier that day, where, after several glasses of wine, I discovered bourbon...Jayzis.

You can read up on a couple of my DublinTown adventures in the links below, but only if you really want to.(tumblr is currently down as I am typing this)

Did I tell you Dublin is a fun place to live sometimes?  I'm going to miss Derry something terrible this week though.  SENDING LOVE.

Now, in the name of Craicula, get these tunes inta ya.
