Jerry was found in contempt of court in May of 2013 for refusing to testify after subpoenaed by a grand jury in New York City. The investigation is believed to be connected to a 2008 bombing in Times Square. The bombing caused no injuries, and Jerry was not a suspect.
Jerry could have been held in jail on civil contempt charges for up to 18 months, but recently sent a bid for freedom to a federal judge.
