I have tried a few products from Amie quite a few years ago, so was interested to see if they were as good as I remember.
Amie was created by Fiona Parkhouse, ex-Estee Lauder executive. She wanted to create a range that would benefit her daughters skincare problems.
Fiona didn't want to use harsh or aggressive ingredients in the skincare line, especially as it was aimed for younger skin. So she worked with leading dermatologist, Dr Susan Mayou of London Cadogan Clinic to create the Amie line.
Amie Morning Dew Matte-Finish Moisturiser is 90.8% natural, it has ingredients like organic rosehip, bilberry, vitamin E, Lemon Fruit Extract and Orange Blossom in it. These help to nourish the skin and protect it against sun damage and pollution. Whilst also being antiseptic and keeping the skin matte and clear.
I found Amie Morning Dew to be a very light texture cream. It has a soap like scent to it which I quite like as it is fresh and clean. A little goes a long way and it absorbs into the skin instantly making it feel hydrated but still feeling matte. It definitely helped with keeping my t-zone matte free for longer.
For me it isn't something I would use everyday as my skin needs a bit more now but for teenager skins and for people going into their 20's I think it is a fantastic moisturiser. I really found it helps when my skin was having a seriously oily day.
