America Is Not a Democracy

Posted on the 28 April 2015 by Calvinthedog

Here.

And it never has been. And probably it never will be, at least in my lifetime. And the funny thing is probably most Americans are quite happy to be living in what is definitely not a free country. That is because Americans have never believed in freedom or a free country. That’s not what they want. Americans think freedom and free countries are anti-American.

Case in point: Can you please tell me why Alexander Dugin is banned from entering the United Snakes? What has he done wrong. The government says he is banned from entering the country for “supporting the separatists in Ukraine.” Is that a crime? Are we involved in a war there? Are our troops fighting on one side of a war there? If not, then what do we care? We don’t like Dugin because he is opposed to our Nazi buddies in Ukraine. So Dugin is being banned from America for being an antifa, an antifascist, a partisan, a Nazi fighter. Absolutely incredible.

It is beyond me why just about anyone should be banned from entering the US due to their opinions. Can you please give me some examples of some people who ought to be banned from the US due to their opinions? I would say maybe pro-Al Qaeda types who advocate attacking Americans and American soldiers. That sounds reasonable? Anyone else? I can’t think of anyone else.

Dugin is anti-American and anti-West. So what? So am I. Why don’t they ban me from the country? So if someone outside the US, even a world-famous intellectual, is anti-US, he can’t come into our country? Why not? Are his views poisonous? Are we afraid they are going to catch on? If this really is the most wonderful nation on Earth according to the patriotards who banned Dugin, why should we worry about some anti-American fool who is obviously crazy because he doesn’t realize how great this country is.

I can guarantee you one thing. The more patriotarded the American is, the more he says he loves America, loves freedom, will stand up and fight for freedom, etc., the more likely he is to be happy with banning Dugin. Can you see how insane these people are?

All during the Cold War, many Communist and pro-Communist intellectuals and figures were banned from entering the US. Why was that? Were we fighting a war somewhere with these people? No. Our position during the Cold War was that it was so obvious that America was a free country that anyone who thought Communism was better was crazy. If that was true, then why were we so worried about pro-Communist intellectuals who were obviously mental?

Many Muslim intellectuals were placed on the no-fly list simply because we did not like their views. Cat Stevens was idiotically put on the list just for being a Muslim. Quite a few Americans who were simply dissidents were also put on the no-fly list. The reason for this stupid no-fly list was that it was supposedly a list of possible terrorists who might hijack or blow up an airliner. Is Cat Stevens likely to blow up an airplane? Were any of those dissident American intellectuals likely to blow up a plane? Of course not. All of those people were corruptly and cynically put on that list in the finest American tradition of corruption and cynicism for the simple reason that we didn’t like their dissident views. Once again, America is not a free country.

Word about this stupid no-fly list has gotten out all over the US, and there has been almost no hue and cry about it. Once again, it looks like Americans are freedom-haters.

The truth is that Americans do not want to live in a free country, they hate the idea of freedom and free countries. And the more a person is patriotic and loves America, the more he feels this way.

This is a seriously disturbed way of thinking.
