Here's how you do it:
Chop a bunch of ripe or slightly brown bananas into disks. (This is very important, unless you have a chainsaw handy to chop up your frozen bananas.)
Pile them onto a plate and pop them in the freezer.
Leave them for about 5hours, or over night if possible.
When they're frozen, drop them in your blender/mixer/torture instrument of choice.
Keep blending until you have a smooth mush, like the one bellow.
You may need to stop the machine and scrape down the sides a couple times, but stick with it.
Now add 2-3 heaped teaspoons of cocoa powder and a swirl of maple syrup
(Or whatever flavourings you fancy, be inventive!)
Now, if you like it soft, scoop it into a bowl and enjoy.
If you like it a little sturdier, put it into a Tupperware pot, seal and put it in the freezer for a couple hours
