I just don’t get it. WHY can’t the industry keep things consistent? I mean, is it that hard to make all things alike?
You may ask what I’m talking about but once I tell you, I know you’ll agree with me 100%.

I’m have these favorite jeans of mine, actually 2 pair, that I got last year from Sears. They are U.S.Polo jeans. I LOVE THEM! When I bought them, they were on clearance for like $9.99 a pair. They only had 2 pair left and lo and behold, they were my size! Skinny jeans at that girlies!
I bought them and they are by far my fav jeans! Yes, they even beat out my Old Navy skinny jeans because the ankles are a bit loser.
Every time I’ve been in Sears, they never have these jeans! It’s been burning me up! So I went online, YES! They have them! And ordered 3 pair; 2 darker, 1 light.
Picking Up Product at the Store
Omg! I’ll never do this again! I have to drive up to the Mall to get these jeans. What possessed me to do this, I don’t know. A moment of weakness maybe? Hubs and I drive there in torrential rain. Talk about major bad hair day when we got inside!
ARGH!
Then because I used Paypal, I could automatically bring up my pick up order. The hubs is impatient and starts showing his ass. Of course, I have to shut him down and tell him he’s embarrassing me. :) Truly, he was acting like an infant not getting a lollipop.
The sales associate comes out and gladly assists me. I know he felt sorry for me because my hubs was still acting like a wiener. My order came out in a box and I double checked to make sure all three were there.
YEAH! I Got My Fav Jeans!
So I get home and try them on just to make sure they are the same awesomely sexy jeans!
- Light pair on first, AWESOME!
- Dark pair next, tight around the belly but still wearable
- Dark pair last, calves and ankles are tight
WTF?
Is it that difficult for a size 14 pair of U.S. Polo jeans to fit exactly the same? I mean, the 2 dark pairs should have been the same fit!
NOT!
What about the light pair? I knew they would be a teeny bit different as I already had a light and dark pair and the light pair are a bit longer and a tad looser.
SAME DAMN JEANS!
So I ask you, as much damn money as we spend on clothing, they must be paying the seamstresses enough to make sure they are made the same and they should have QC (Quality Control) employees that check for consistent quality!
Why are they different? Truly I don’t think I’m asking too much for them to at least have the same brand of jeans, that have the same style number, just different color, FIT THE SAME DAMN WAY!
Is this something that peeves you? It makes buying clothes that much harder, no?
By the way, it basically the same damn thing with tops anymore. I find one that I love and fits fabulous so I want many more colors of it. HOWEVER, they all fit differently! It’s sooooo annoying!
Tell me ladies, what else do you find that should be the same but isn’t and bugs the snot out of you?
