“Fuckin’ indie” label, Alcopop!, have teamed up with Mango Bikes for the novel launch of the 6th edition in the Alcopopular compilation series. Out on November 28, 2013 (pre-order available below), this release is unique in that it is being peddled via an Alcopop! branded bike!
As a lover independent music, punk rock and pop, and of course all things bicycle, I can totally see myself cranking the compilation, digging into the bullhorn bars and letting rip – though the Alcopop! shop specifies drop bars?
Oddly, it’s also billed as a mountain bike, but it looks more like a urban single-speed to me. Either way, standout tracks from Playlounge, The Wytches, Axes and Birdskulls serve as a reminder that it is the music that is important here.
