In a bid to respond to the competition and stay competitive, Airtel, the country’s largest telecom operator, has announced a new data-centric plan for its prepaid customers. Airtel’s new plan offers 4GB of data per day along with a validity period of 28 days at a very enticing price tag of just Rs 999. This basically means that the user will be entitled to get 112GB data in total. It caters to individuals who consume a lot of data on a daily basis and are in need of 4G data regularly. Moreover, users of this plan also stand to get unlimited local + STD voice calls which makes this deal quite a lucrative one especially for hard-core mobile users.
However, we must throw caution to the wind and mention that these bundled calls have a daily limit of 250 minutes per day and up to 1,000 minutes per week and applies for both local and STD calls. If you exceed these limits, then you will be charged at 10 paise per minute for Airtel to Airtel calls and for calls on other networks, you will be charged at 30 paise per minute. Moreover, although the mobile recharge plans costs Rs. 999, Rs 799, Rs 549, Rs 499 & Rs 349, customers who make the mobile recharge/payment via Airtel Payments Bank are entitled to get 50 percent cashback as an offer.
Users can avail of this wonderful offer via the My Airtel app or Airtel Website. However, this plan is available only for select users and one needs to check first if they are eligible for this plan or not. To check for eligibility, you need to visit Airtel’s recharge portal. First, you need to enter your number, then proceed to the Browse Packs section and finally click on Internet. Further, you can also check your eligibility via the My Airtel app.
Besides the Rs.999 plan, Airtel has unveiled and offered a few more mobile recharge plans such as:
- Airtel Rs. 499 plan gives 1.5GB data per day along with unlimited local and STD Airtel to Airtel voice calls valid for a period of 28 days.
- Airtel Rs. 549 plan that gives 2GB data per day along with unlimited local and STD Airtel to Airtel voice calls valid for a period of 28 days.
- Airtel Rs 695 plan that gives 500MB of 2G/3G/4G data along with unlimited local and STD Airtel to Airtel calls valid for a period of 84 days.
- Airtel Rs 795 plan which offers 1GB of 4G/3G/2G data along with unlimited local and STD Airtel to Airtel calls valid for a period of 84 days.
- Airtel Rs 799 plan which offers 3GB data per day along with unlimited local and STD calls valid for a period of 28 days.
- Under the Airtel Rs 899 plan, Airtel is not only offering unlimited local and STD calls along with 6GB data valid for a period of 28 days but also offering it’s 4G HS+ 4G SIM users, 3.5GB data per day.
- Airtel Rs 1198 plan is their most expensive plans and under this plan, users get to make unlimited STD and local calls along with 9GB data allowance per day for a period of 28 days. For 4G HS+ 4G SIM users, it is 5GB data per day.
