Aiming for Everest

Posted on the 30 April 2012 by Exceedpossibility @exceedpossible
Ever since I first set my eyes on Mount Everest, towering menacingly 8848 metres above sea level, my desire to climb it has been huge. I couldn't think of anything more satisfying than standing on the summit, even if people give the mountain, and those that climb it, a poor reputation for carelessness, literring and selfishness.
Everest slowly broke through the clouds as we stood on Kala Pattar, an experience I'll never forget. One day maybe I'll stand on the summit I saw back in 2010.
