Thurø is one of these other charming, small islands to the south of Funen, which can easily be reached via a bridge:

We had seen a little bit of sun while we were still on Langeland, but on Thurø the clouds and the mist had come back. Actually, I don’t mind clouds or mist; they can make a familiar landscape look so different. As long as it doesn’t rain too hard, I am happy with every kind of weather.
Since everything looked so desolate, I decided to convert the pictures to black and white. This is one of the main beaches on Thurø; right next to it there is a camping place.
