Affogato #chocolateparty

Leave it to the Italians to come up with Affogato. It is so easy and so delicious anyone can make it.

Today’s #chocolateparty ingredients are ice cream and chocolate. I wasn’t sure exactly what to make and then it hit me. I had seen this on many menus at Italian restaurants and I have seen it on television. I am not sure why I haven’t made this up until now.

It is fantastic and so easy to make. I know this sounds awful, but i think I would love to have this for breakfast also.

You can use just about any ice cream you like, I thought about using a chocolate gelato and make it extra chocolaty.

Here I went old school and used Haagen-Daz Vanilla. If you are going to make this use good ingredients. Don’t buy the Wal-Mart brand Vanilla flavored Ice Cream and expect the same results. Great Ingredients makes a great Affogatto. I prefer Haagen-Dazs, but I also like Breyers Ice Cream.  You are probably wondering what is this #chocolateparty and how can I be a part of it. Well, I am so glad you asked.
