Hey Loves!
My recent week has been so hectic! I just went back to work, I'm adjusting to moving in with the boyfriend AND I am enjoying New York Fashion Week. I didn't plan on attending many events. To be honest with you, I never really look into to them because I just always assume it never fits into my schedule but this year it was definitely different. Thanks to my blogger friend Liz from DearAndi.com (which is one of my favorite blogs) I was HOOKED up! She basically sent me a crap load of invites for Fashion week! I was mainly excited that I was going to be able to hang out with her because I haven't seen her since last year around this time!
The first stop was Benefit Cosmetics x Fashion Police event which was held at the Thompson Hotel. It was a gorgeous day for a rooftop party which included makeup AND Joan Rivers! Yes, I said Joan Rivers. All of the cast of Fashion Police was in attendance except for Kelly O (which I was pretty sad about).
Joan Rivers, the mother of ALL jewish mothers came over to ask us something and to be quite honest I have no idea what she even said because I was waiting for the opening to ask "Hey, do you think we can take a picture with you?'. She was so sweet about it!
I also snapped some behind the scenes photos when Giuliana Rancic was interviewing John Legend and his fiancé, Chrissy Teigen. I mean, it was a pretty awesome party. It became a little crowed at one point but I didn't mind so much because Ashley Tisadle was sitting next to me.
The next day was filled with non-stop events! I was literally running around on and off trains. I had to attend the awesome Von Vonni x Elly Clay event. I was pretty excited about this because Elly Clay has just joined my blog as one of my affiliates! I couldn't wait to see their shoes in person and of course the infamous Von Vonni transformer dresses!
It was an overall awesome event and I was lucky enough to take home a fabulous Von Vonni Transformer dress! Elly Clay's shoes are something I have yet to see anywhere else. I love the style and look of their shoes. It definitely fits my punk chic look.
Oh and they had delicious cupcakes also. Who doesn't love cupcakes and shoes? YUM!
I made my way over to Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics "Moderncraft" party later that evening. I absolutely love this company and they are mostly know for their Lip Tars. The face of their new Moderncraft Fall line, Calpernia Addams gave us a lovely performance and we got to see the full collection.
Finally I ended my night at Christian Siriano's one year store anniversary event! You know the cute designer from Project Runway season 4! He has been one of my favorites! It was absolutely packed, but I enjoyed some champagne and talked myself out of buying a pair of his shoes. Which was very difficult. Before We exited for the night, we stop Christian who was VERY busy helping shoppers for some picture time!

It was overall a very successful beginning to Fashion Week! I realized I may or may not be cut out for this BUT it is definitely still A LOT of fun! Until next time........................
