So, October is here...and so is autumn. I love autumn..or "fall" as some of you may call it.. I love the falling leaves, I love the nature filled with the hues of red, orange yellow, brown and bits of green....I love the cozy evenings...the tip toeing winter breeze.... ah...isn't it wonderful..
I know autumn is poetically associated with melancholy and sadness..with the bright summer sun gone and the chilly winter knocking on our doors .... but I like to go by the lines John Keats wrote in his poem "To Autumn".
"Where are the songs of Spring? Ay, where are they?
Think not of them, thou hast thy music too,"What he means to say is......Spring might be great and all, but it doesn't stick around, so who needs it.
He reassures autumn, who might be feeling a tad inadequate compared to her more celebrated counterpart, that she has her own music....
...and yes...it absolutely does has its own music...its own colors and its own charm....
As this cooler and eventually, chilly season arrives...it gives us opportunity to snuggle up with our darling loved ones...get cozy...share a nice hot beverage on couch...watching your favorite show or movies... :)
The pics that I have uploaded are those I found online,....One look at these photographs and my heart gets all mushy and romantic.....I want to take a long walk down these roads, around these trees..sit on that bench and walk over that bridge with my love........complete bliss!!
....Untill next time....xx
