I would like to tell you on how the acne patch actually works.The Nexcare Acne patch works like a sponge that would absorb the pimple causing bacteria and helps to heal and cure it before the pimple cause any marks.

How do you use the patch? and WHY ? Just take a patch and apply it on the affected area. The patch would start its work by absorbing the excess oil from that region and thus making the patch to turn white. This way, you will get to know that it is the time to change the patch. You can use it till you see no sign of redness or the swelling. My Take on the product: As I already said,I do get acne occasionally. During that time of the month or if I travel too much or the day just after I roam around the city. There can be many reasons but pimples are prone to happen on my oily skin. I do have clear skin but never REALLY GOOD SKIN. I have started using some quality products without compromising now and I see my skin's texture is turning good. (comment below if you would like to know my current skincare routine) Anyway, coming to the NEXCARE ACNE PATCH,it has NO harmful chemical. The patch absorbs all the oil and pus in the pimple. . When you place the patch on the acne spot, it gets stuck and after sometime, you don't even realize that it is there. It just lays there and does it's work. It works the best on the pimples which already have a whitehead visible or in the process of swelling the next day. The patch must be used continuously (At least I had to do that way) I used the patch for a complete night and next night. You can use it during the day as well. The wonderful thing is that you can apply makeup on it!! . With the first use itself, it seemed to work. I mean, my pimple size shrunk a bit by morning and there was very little pain. In two days,it was gone without leaving any mark. The next time, I used it while I already got the volcano which was almost ready to explode! The Acne Patch again came to my rescue It worked over the night and I used it the next morning too. It reduced the pimple size. Actually, I saw it turned white which is a sign that it really worked. Pros: 1. Quick remedy 2. Perfect for the huge pimples which have a yellow/ white head 3. Has no harmful chemical so there is no fear of side-effects 4. Comes in different shapes and sizes. There are patches for the nose and forehead as well 5. The cover acts like a barrier and prevents us from picking or touching the pimple and hence reduces the chance of infection 6. Affordable 7. Handy/travel or makeup pouch friendly. We can apply makeup on the patch, so we can use it even when hanging out with friends or going for a party Cons: I read the manual and it says that these are not meant for the cystic acne. These work well for the usual pimples/acne. My Rating: 4/5 My Recommendation: If you are like me, who gets occasional pimples and are desperate to get rid of them without infecting the area or with less pain...please get these.!
