Tanzania’s music regulatory body Basata decided to punish Diamond Platnumz, Rayvanny and Wasafi label for producing a song ‘Mwanza’ that contravenes acceptable morals standards.Diamond, Rayvanny and Wasafi were jointly been fined Tsh 9 million or Kes 403,197. Basata said they three were each required to pay Tsh 3 million or Kes 134,399.Basata executive secretary Godfrey Mngereza also stated that the song had been banned from being played on radio, TV, clubs and concerts.
