About Rolex India
While Rolex initiated its commercial activities in India in 1947, it was established as an affiliate in 2008. Rolex strengthened its position in India by setting up a subsidiary and steadily expanded its retail network. Presently Rolex has in an excess of 20 points of sale in major metros, including 8 exclusive Rolex boutiques. Rolex is also involved in supporting arts, sports, the spirit of enterprise, and the environment through a broad palette of sponsoring activities as well as philanthropic programmes. Last year, the brand held its Rolex Awards for Enterprise event in India, which since 1976 has been helping individuals foster a spirit of enterprise and advance human knowledge and well-being. It has sponsored 120 laureates from over 42 countries, having projects in over 60 countries. Among them have been five Indians.  Further to the brand’s recent association with Formula One, it will now be the official timekeeper at the Buddh Circuit in Noida.
About Rolex SA Rolex owes its success and its status to the values inherited from its founder, Hans Wilsdorf, and to the guiding principles that it has continuously promoted: the spirit of enterprise and a visionary outlook, the constant quest for innovation and the passion for perfection. Today, at the dawn of the 21st century, Hans Wilsdorf’s personality and work continue to inspire the company and its strong corporate culture. His influence is evident in the aesthetics and intrinsic characteristics of a product that has remained faithful to the original, as well as in Rolex’s capacity to draw on its prodigious heritage to advance towards new horizons.
