Aam ras recipe/keri nu ras recipe | How to make aam ras
Before I start the post today,I have a question for you all,do you all get enough of your mangoes...I never do,the more I eat mangoes, the more I crave,I hope most of you will feel the same. There is no denial that mangoes are best eaten as such, with juice dripping all over yet there are so many elegant and delicious ways to serve this fruit.Today's post is one such recipe,a minimal yet classic one all over India. Aam ras-juice of mango,is a famous dish mainly in north India,it is so popular and widespread that every state has its own preparation. It is mostly served as a side dish with poori, but I made it for dessert. With mangoes flavor captured at its best, this is a simple, brilliant dessert to serve on a hot day.. The taste of this dish is largely dependent on the type of mango you use,it is best to use good quality mangoes like alphonso, banganapalli, that more flesh and less fibrous.I have seen some recipes for this with milk, but I don't understand the difference between aam ras and milkshake if we use milk here too,if any one of you knows, please shed some light :) There is no such recipe here, just blend your peeled mangoes along with sugar/honey,add some cardamom powder and viola, your dessert is ready :)
