Wrappz.com recently contacted me and asked if I would like a vinyl skin for a device. I decided on a skin for my Kindle Fire HD.
Who are Wrappz.com?
Wrappz are an online store selling fully customisable phone cases, vinyl skins for various devices as well as faux leather cases.
The vinyl skin which I received was fully customisable and I could personalise it with my own photo. They are removable, adhesive covers which protect your device as well as helping you make it look unique and different.
As well as adding your own images, you can also add text or choose from the hundreds of pictures in the galleries at Wrappz.com.
The skin comes complete with ‘Easy On Easy Off’ patented 3M adhesive so that they are easy to apply and no residue is left if removed. The adhesive also lets you easily reposition the skin for a perfect fit.
What did I think?
I found the skin fairly easy to customise. The photo I wanted to use was quickly uploaded and easy to position in the right place on screen. I chose to use one of the preset gallery images for the front, which there were plenty to choose from!
Once I had the skin looking how I wanted, it was quick and easy to click through to order and it arrived, well packaged, quickly.
Although I like the skin for the rear of my device, I am not keen on the front. Maybe, because I use it as a Kindle for reading most of the time, it distracts me more than it would if I was using it as a tablet? As I said though, I do really like the photo for the rear. It has come out really well and really gives my device that unique and personalised aspect.
It was very easy to peel off the backing and stick onto my device and I was also able to lift it up easily to ensure that it went on straight.
