I was having a quick rifle through my stash the other day in the hope of unearthing something spectacular, when I spotted the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry. This was a blogger inspired purchase that I picked up after watching this video from Fleur de Force. After I saw her wearing it, I fell in love immediately.
Unfortunately, as has happened with so many of my impulse buys, it got stuck in the back of my dressing table draw and has pretty much remained there ever since (I think I pulled it out for Halloween once, so make of that what you will!).
And so, in an attempt to ditch my usual evening make up look and spice things up a little, I decided to don the deep shade and at the same time, made the doubly daring decision to team it with one of my favorite MAC eyeshadows in Cranberry - another product that I'm a big fan of but that isn't always the easiest to wear.
Personally, I think the two make a lovely pair and I will be whipping them out a lot more often now that the festive season is nearly upon us.
