The lovely Vinnie the Panda from Fox’s Biscwits Biscuits recently sent us a lovely big box full of his new taste of America biscuits.
In the box were Key Lime Pie Crunch Creams, Mississippi Mud Pie Melts, Blueberry Muffin Party Rings, Cherry Cheesecake Jam ‘n’ Creams.
I am a big fan of biscuits anyway (who isn’t?) and really liked the look of these. The packaging is bright and appealing and I couldn’t wait to get them open and have a try.
Key Lime Pie Crunch Creams
These were the ones I was looking forward to trying the most. I love citrus foods and these type of ‘crunch cream’ biscuits. Described as crunchy golden biscuits filled with tangy, zesty key lime pie flavour, they did not disappoint. They were very crunchy and full of flavour.
Mississippi Mud Pie Melts
Is there anyone that doesn’t like a chocolate biscuit?! Described as luxurious buttery biscuits filled with rich, gooey, chocolatey Mississippi mud pie flavour cream. Sounds good right? Although I liked these biscuits they were very chocolatey and I didn’t really think the creamy centre was gooey, however, the biscuit was lovely and crunchy.
Blueberry Muffin Party Rings
Like usual party rings, however, with a blueberry muffin flavour icing. We kept these biscuits for Little Miss A’s birthday party. The whole family like party rings anyway so I had no doubt these would go down well. They are a great colour and do have a different flavour to normal party rings.
Cherry Cheesecake Jam ‘n’ Cream
Described as cherry jam sandwiched between buttery digestive biscuits, these were my favourite. They are like jammy dodgers but nicer! The jam was a delicious cherry flavour, the biscuit was crunchy and the cream added a lovely extra tasty element.
Overall we really enjoyed these biscuits and the all quickly disappeared! I will certainly be keeping an eye out for them next time I go shopping!
