Here is a reply I received from one of our friends on recommendations on security for our boat. You think he’s from the south? Interestingly enough Carl actually knew what he is talking about.
“Shark bang stick. Pitch fork. Tazer that shoots darts. Crossbow pistol or full size. Tactical tomahawk. Battle sword much better than machete. Tactical flashlight so bright will blind them long enough for you to select your weapon and beat the shit out of him.
I have all the above except for bang stick. My problem is I forgot we're I hid them.
Early warning and deterrents.
Flir monocle shows heat on dark nights you can see really far away. Mine can detect over 2000 feet away. If they try to swim in their heads would glow white hot. Night vision monocle also good but has to have moonlight. On totally dark nights not so good unless you have infra red flash light.
Electric fence unit. Pot growers use a 22 cal blank mechanism with trip wire you can buy them on eBay for 19 dollar. That would make them crap their pants and also wake you up. Next there is a cheap wireless system that has up to four sensors. I have one works great it works off of 12volt. Can provide info last I checked around 70 dollars. I also use a dual beam system that has a 150 foot range also 12 volt. Make a life size figure out of old clothes put hat on it make it look like is on guard. While they beat on the dummy you can get the drop on them.
No I am not paranoid. Just have unusual hobby. We'll have to take my attack dog and patrol the back 40.
