Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Shampoo
From time to time I read about products on other beauty blogs, try them and they just do not live up to the hype! Now I know everyone is different and not all products work for everyone but the Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Shampoo was one product that I had high hopes for but unfortunatley these hopes were not fulfilled!I bought the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo a while ago having gone back blonde from my natural color. As it was the first time my hair had been coloured in a while it wasn't quite as bright as I had hoped, so I decided to try this shampoo in the hope of lightening it a little bit between colours. Basically the premise of the shmapoo is that it lightens hair, whether it is color treated or not, and is gentle to the hair whilst doing it.
I'm personally not a fan of the smell of the Go Blonder Shampoo, I find it a little chemically but this on its own would not be enough to put me off a product. After using the shampoo every day for a week I found that my hair was very dry and very brittle. Now some people might wonder why I used it every day but the shampoo does claim to gentle enough to use it like any other shampoo. I had to use my beloved Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment to revive it back to its usual condition.
Perhaps if my hair had been lightened it would have provided a pay off for the bad quality of my hair but unfortunately it didn't. I persevered for two weeks with this shampoo and I ended up with brittle, dehydrated hair that was exactly the same color as before I started dying it! I didn't perchase the conditioner from this range so I'm not sure if using this would have made much of a difference but after using the shampoo I'm really not willing to part with any more cash to buy products from this range.
I'm quite fortunate that I haven't had to post a negative review recently but I was just very disapointed with this product so felt it I should post about my ec=xperiences of using it. The Sheer Blonde range is avaialble from Boots and the shampoo is available for £5.89.
