A Rainy School Run #CountryKids

By Mummyoftwo @RaspberryGiggle

It was a miserable day today and I was not looking forward to the school run in the rain!

The Little A's put on their wellies and Little Miss A got under her rain cover (much to her disgust!) ready to go. Little Mr A was most excited that he got to use his umbrella for the first time in ages and couldn't wait to get out to splash in the puddles!

Thankfully by the time we set off it was only drizzling rather than the full on rain we had had earlier in the morning.

Little Mr A had great fun finding any little puddle he could to splash through!

On the way home the rain had died down even more so I let Little Miss A walk. We had a great time chatting about the hedges, trees and fences - and touching them all of course!

Not having a car at the moment means I am sure there will be lots more school runs in the rain. Even when I did have the car sat there though I'd still rather walk, even if it was raining! It gets crazy busy with cars around school at the slightest drop of rain and I really didn't like adding to that. A bit of water never hurt anyone and the Little A's don't care about getting a bit wet!
