The way I work in the studio is sometimes like a re-creation effort... I start from the photograph and try to get its essence, yet searching for something different, more atmospheric, more synthetic. Colors are coming, I put on the first, second layer, and continue to explore. Sometimes, I pull the colors off and start again, searching for an harmony.
This one is with some blue and pink, and I put a bit of mist and cloud to soften the skyline. Here it is / A quiet morning in Lower Manhattan:

The cityscape series might continue... in pastel or in charcoal at least. If time allows, then, I might switch to oil... We'll see.
