At the start of every new year I decide that I am going to take more time out for myself and spend more time looking after me.  Then everyday life gets in the way and the Little A’s need seeing to or the house needs something doing to it and time for me gets forgotten.

This year Home Bargains have sent me some great goodies to make that pampering a little bit easier.

I was sent the following goodies to treat myself….

2013-12-21 11.24.03

Included are:

  • Scottie Dog Hot Water Bottle RRP £2.99
  • Vanilla Scented Candle RRP 69p
  • Natures Origin Moisturising Cream RRP £1.99
  • Shower Smoothie RRP 89p
  • Minnie Mouse Shower Cap RRP £1.29
  • Exfoliating Gloves RRP 99p
  • Argan Oil RRP 99p
  • Collagen Face Mask RRP 69p
  • Butterfly Cushion RRP £3.99
  • Rubber Duck RRP £1.49

I was really impressed with the quality of items that arrived.  For that price you would expect them maybe to be a bit cheap looking or not last very long.  Although I haven’t found as much time as I would have liked to test out everything, I have been using some of the items for a few weeks now and they are still as good as new.

The shower cap, exfoliating gloves and cushion have been used the most and they are still looking good.

The Little A’s have stolen the duck for their bath time and it is holding up well to all of their splashing!

The candle has a lovely scent as does the moisturising cream and shower smoothie.

I have yet to use the hot water bottle as it has not really been cold enough to need it, however, it feels like a good quality hot water bottle and is the perfect size for snuggling up with on a cold night.

I had never really thought of looking in Home Bargains for pampering items before, however, I am extremely impressed with the price and quality of these items and think you could make someone a really nice pampering hamper as a gift, or just treat yourself without breaking the bank!

At these prices you feel like you can treat yourself to something special without having to feel guilty about the cost!  I will certainly be having a good look at the pampering and beauty section next time we visit Home Bargains.
