When I found out I would be attending a bloggers night in with all of my good blogging friends, I really wanted to try and arrange something special for all of them.
I wracked my brains and remembered I had worked with Vistaprint in the past and contacted them to see if they could help me out with a little surprise for everyone. They kindly agreed to give me some credit in order to create something personal for everyone.
I had a look at what small gifts were available on their website and considered notebooks, pens, t-shirts, before deciding on a mug for everyone. I assumed most people drank some kind of hot drink so hoped this would be a useful as well as personal gift.
The mugs were really easy to create (the time consuming part was obtaining everyone’s blog logos!). Once the photos were uploaded you simply choose to add the photo to the mug whereafter you can rotate it and crop to ensure it is in the correct place. You can then add text depending on which mug you have chosen to create.
A warning will come up if it considers the photo is not of high enough resolution, however, even though I had a warning on some of the photos I uploaded, all of them came out OK once printed.
Once all the mugs were done I went through the ordering process (which is the only thing that annoys me about Vistaprint as you get offered lots of other items before being able to order!).
Once ordered the mugs arrived within a couple of weeks and were very well packaged with no breakages!
I was really impressed with how they had all turned out and couldn’t wait to give them to my blogging friends!
At the weekend it was time to show them what I had created for them. I am pleased to say everyone genuinely seemed to be really impressed with their mugs and I got lots of thank you’s!
I think these mugs would make a great Christmas present/stocking filler and they are a great price too!
