A Magical Sunset

By Ingridd @cosytraveler

Since Lars and I were back on Zealand, we simply had to go back to our favorite beach! In case you don’t know what/where our favorite beach is, have a look at the following posts:

  • Our favorite beach in spring
  • Our favorite beach in summer
  • Our favorite beach in autumn
  • Our favorite beach in winter
  • Our favorite beach in spring again
  • Our favorite beach in black and white

When we drove to the beach, we realized that we had never been there during sunset. I was looking forward to this, but on the other hand I didn’t know what to expect. Were there going to be many people on the beach? Any bonfires?

In the meantime, it had stopped raining and even better, the sun was back. We drove through the forest, parked the car and walked to the beach. And we were very happy and relieved when we saw almost no people there. There were 2 couples quite far from each other and from us, watching the sun go down.

There were no bonfires either. Instead, we saw a very beautiful sunset. The colors – all the hues of yellow and orange – were amazing. There were almost no waves, there was no sound at all. Simple tranquility. I think the pictures speak for themselves. And the best was yet to come…
