Little Miss A was recently sent a gorgeous new raincoat from Lovably Me.
Lovably Me are a lovely website selling carefully selected gifts and accessories for those gorgeous little people in our lives! Items include toys, crafts, room ideas, outdoor wear and dress up items.
The Ladybird raincoat Little Miss A was sent is made from a soft, waterproof outer with a lightweight cotton lining. They start from age 2-3 going up to age 5-6. There are also matching wellies available to accompany the coat.
When the raincoat arrived it was beautifully packaged in tissue paper. As soon as I took the raincoat from the packaging I could tell it was great quality and definitely worth the RRP of £25.00. The colours on the coat were really striking and bright and the inner liner was incredibly soft.
The design on the raincoat is just lovely. I am a big fan of ladybird patterns and this did not disappoint. There is not too much decoration on the raincoat to be overpowering but it still looks very striking and I absolutely love the giant ladybird on the back of the raincoat!
At 16 months I thought the raincoat might be a little on the big side for Little Miss A at the moment, however, although a little long on the body, the arms fit her very well (you can roll the sleeves back a little without any effect to the pattern) and I quite like having that extra length to deal with puddle splashing and the inevitable falling over!
Little Miss A has been wearing her raincoat everyday since it arrived. It has been out in the garden, on the school run and for days out. We have had lots of people commenting on how lovely it is! Although the raincoat is quite thin, with a thick jumper underneath and a hat it has been keeping her very warm in this unseasonably mild weather we have been having!
I can certainly see this raincoat taking her right through to next winter and am looking forward to getting some proper wet days to test out the waterproofness to the full!
