We were recently sent some lovely Christmas Reindeer decorations from Elsie & Fleur to review.
Who are Elsie & Fleur?
Elsie & Fleur is a lovely new website offering customers unique items for the garden and home as well as lifestyle and food gifts made by artisan crafters and creators in the West Country. They aim to offer their customers the chance to buy unusual handmade items, however, at an affordable price. All of the items are sold to support micro-businesses run by entrepreneurs.
There is a price ceiling on products of no more than £40 per item.
The Reindeers…
We received two of the Rustic Reindeer, created by Paul Cadmore. There are three different sizes available, small, medium and large. We received a small reindeer and a medium reindeer.
Made from reclaimed wood in the workshop of Paul Cadmore, they come with individual names and look great! Each one looks similar but may differ slightly due to the nature of the materials used.
I really like these reindeer. I think they look so cute and are really different from the items you can buy in the shop. Because they are handmade it is nice to know that no-one else will have exactly the same reindeer as the ones I have and I love that they come with their own names.
I did find the small one to be a little fragile and it definitely needs keeping away from little hands! The medium reindeer is a really great size and very sturdy. It is much bigger than I expected and, priced at £20 I think it is a very reasonable price and great value for money.
The small reindeer is 19cm and priced at £10. The medium reindeer is 36cm and priced at £20. The large reindeer is 49cm and priced at £25.
Overall I really like these reindeer decorations and can’t wait to have them on display at Christmas.
