Bollywood’s highest paid actress Kareena Kapoor has finally shot a song and scene for Prabhudeva’s Rowdy Rathore. She did the cameo as a friendly gesture for producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-producer Shabinaa Khan.
Shabinaa Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been friends for years. Their friendship goes back to the days when Bebo was dating Shahid Kapoor. When Kareena broke up with Shahid, Shabinaa, then designing for Shahid cut off all personal and professional ties with the actor.
When Shabinaa, the designer-turned-producer approached Kareena for the role, she agreed immediately. The scene and song were shot in Filmcity last week and she did the cameo for free. According to the information, Kareena plays a glamorous character in the film Rowdy Rathore. When Kareena was asked about it, she said: “I have done the cameo for Shabinaa and Sanjay. Both are very dear to me”.
Rowdy Rathore, an upcoming Bollywood Action Film is directed by Prabhudeva. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Kareena Kapoor. The viewers will get to see Akshay in a double role opposite Sonakshi and Kareena in a cameo role. The film, which is a remake of Telugu film Vikramarkudu aims to hit theatres on June 1st, 2012.
