9 Encouraging Ways To Help With Weight Loss

Got a little floppy fat under the arms and are not very proud of your love handle? The only solution is losing weight. You start well and plan your workout program and daily diet then after a few days of routine boring workout session you give up. But how do we keep it consistent and make last? You need a booster.

Boosters are actions you can add to your social life as an adult to help encouraging your reason to lose weight.

1. Group workout

Best way of getting encouraged to help with losing weight is group workout. Join an active group and become a member of their activity. Choose what activity entices you and find a relative group to join: Running, cycling, rowing boat or many other activities that encourages you to stay in shape among your group. The benefit to join a workout group is that other members encourage and cheer when you need the boost.

2. Eat more in smaller portion

One of the least encouraging avenues of weight loss is restricting diet. “Unless you have a high blood pressure and under a medical care you should not restrict your consumption” says Linda Pelicci, director of health and fitness of Life Nutrition. “The most effective way of controlling diet is portion control” she continues.

Instead of eating twice a day in a large portions and feeling blotted, eat frequently in small portions. When dining out, eat 1/4 of the meal on the menu served and take the rest home with you. Love ice cream? Then don’t cut it out of your diet. Enjoy 1/2 scoop of your favorite flavors and ignore the rest. With eating in lesser portion, your stomach will shrink and feels full most of the time. You are more encouraged to lose weight with eating whatever you love, but just less of it.

3. Music

When it comes to music, everyone has different taste in what melody pumps his or her blood. Choose your encouraging music and play it while working out. Play your favorite music to encourage and boost your energy to get you off the couch. Music has a magical power and it keeps you encouraged.

4. Participating in social sport groups

One of the main reasons for discouragement of losing weight is the question of why. Procrastination and delaying the workout session is the lack of enthusiasm. Give your workout a fresh reason by joining social group activities. Join a group of friends that are active in extracurricular activities such as climbing, swimming, skating and or playing your favorite ball game. Most of the member of these active groups are into healthy living and have an active life style, which is encouraging to keep you align with your weight loss program.

5. Fashion shopping

When getting discouraged and having lost a passion in continuing to workout, find a shopping center and indulge in browsing the new fashion. Try the pants and or dress that you love the most in a size you set your goal when decided to workout. See how far off you are and imagine wearing this size on a daily basis. I even suggest going a step further and invest in that pants or dress. Buy it and place it in a clear view as a target to achieve. Every time you want to give up, look at the dream pants or dress and gain another cheer for fitting into it.

6. Pets

Pets are the best encouraging friends to stay active. They love to walk, run and play and are the best encouraging active member of the family. Boost you energy level by playing, walking and running with them. Dogs are the best sport companions that do not let you down.

7. Be a kid

Sometimes living in an adult life style takes away the hidden kid inside us. Wake up the kid inside you by feeling like a kid running in an open field. Laugh and smile while jumping up and down. Scream and shout with happiness and encourage the kid in you to boost your energy. Stop thinking of what the neighbor would say. Stop caring what others might think. Nothing is better than your happiness and the joy is in the kid inside you.

8. Dump your lazy friends.

We all have a group of friends that are taking our focus off of our healthy living. Getting drunk and eat the greasy bar food is the result of hanging out with a wrong group every week. Replace them with a group that are healthier life style and have fun in many different exciting ways. Find your desire activity and find a group of friends who are in the same level of thinking.

9. Yoga class

Another extracurricular activity that is very encouraging in keeping your mood active is yoga. Participate in a yoga class. You also find the active minded and healthy conscious group that are joy to have as companion and friends.

The very first step toward a healthy living and keeping our body fit is the decision and to set a target goal and a desired picture in mind. To maintain this goal and to achieve the desired picture and make into reality one needs encouragement. Encouragement is key to stay align and focus.
