7 Deadly Sins of Beauty - TAG

By Makeupguineapig @MakeUpGuineaPig

I thought today I would do the 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag today just for something a bit different. So here goes!
GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive? A: My most inexpensive item is probably Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm with SPF 15. It costs a dollar or 2 and I use it constantly. Some people might find it a bit too greasy, but I like it a lot. It tastes good and keeps my lips soft and smooth. I love the Vanilla flavor, but the Original is good too. My most expensive beauty item is probably my Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation and it was $55.00. It is rather expensive, but I think it is worth it. Check out my review here. I may have some Urban Decay palettes / sets that cost more (I am thinking specifically of the 15th Anniversary Eye Liner Set), but I do not remember the price of most of them and I do not really count them as individual products which I feel is really the point of the question.
WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love / hate relationship with? A: I think loose eye shadows because they are so messy! Some of them are so beautiful, but they leave a trail of color all over wherever they are used and there is ALWAYS fall out. Another more unusual item would actually be standard lipstick. If they stay on well or at least fade evenly to a slight stain I like them, but I HATE having lipstick wear off without me realizing it leaving either that outer line of color with none in the middle or just plain disappearing making me wonder why I bothered in the first place. Since I do not like having to touch up anything once I am out of the house, lipstick can be a real trouble maker for me!
GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products? A: I think the Lush Mint Julips tastes wonderful, however I do not like the product too much. Since I cannot think of anything I use much that tastes good, I will add a product that smells delicious. I LOVE the scent of The Body Shop’s Vanilla, especially the body lotion. To me, it is the perfect vanilla scent. Not too buttery, not too sugary. Just nice, plain, yummy vanilla. (On an animal testing note, though The Body Shop does not test on animals and was always strictly against it, they have been bought by L’Oreal which DOES do some animal testing.)
SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness? A: I think it would probably be blush. I have never been a big blush person. I think I have always had a slight fear of it, but I am slowly getting over it!
PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence? A: I think either mascara or eye liner. It makes my eyes stand out more and somehow I just feel more polished or awake…well just more confident!
LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex? A: What does that have to do with beauty? I don’t think there is any one thing I find most attractive. It would be a personality trait or just a sense about the other person more than anything physical. I suppose the ability to not take oneself too seriously and to laugh at oneself is probably always something I find attractive.
ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift? A: Hmm. Beauty items I assume. I am not sure. Something I have not tried before or something I love I guess. I guess something I have been wanting to get, but have been waiting until I actually NEED it is Urban Decay’s Lush Lash. I have tried it and I like it, but I have too many mascaras to justify another one so it is on hold for now.
And that’s it! I am not sure this was very interesting, but I would love to hear other people’s 7 Deadly Sins of Beauty so please leave them in the comments!
