4 reasons why you should always urinate in the shower

Many of us urinate in the shower, but none of us really has the courage to admit it! Urine remains a taboo subject, a disgusting habit, which becomes even less appetizing when practiced in the shower. However, this repulsive gesture proved beneficial for the body and for the planet. After reading this article, you will not be embarrassed to say your little secret!

We produce every day between 1L and 1.5 L of urine and about 38,000 liters in our lives.

Urine is a liquid produced by the kidneys. They filter the blood to remove toxins from the body, which will be subsequently discharged through urine. When it is secreted, the liquid will be led via the ureters to the bladder. This once full will send signals to the brain through its receptors to initiate the process of urination. Is, contraction of the bladder wall and relaxation of the bladder sphincter, to permit the discharge of urine. The sphincter of the bladder play an important role in the control of urination. These circular muscles make it possible to retain the urine remaining closed.

So allows urination to empty the bladder and is to refrain from urinating may cause many problems like cramps or cystitis and urinary retention term.

Normally, the color of the urine should be a light yellow, but can be a little darker, following a low water intake. Urine may also change color after the consumption of food coloring or some foods such as beet. Generally the urine is composed mainly of water (95%) and also contains waste and minerals.

Urination is therefore a natural phenomenon. In addition to removing excess fluids in the body as well as waste and toxins, this mechanism also has other benefits for the body but also for the environment! Urinate in the shower, in particular, can be very beneficial.
Here are 4 reasons to do it!
1 – Saving water:
Pee in the shower may seem disgusting, but this action is very environmentally friendly. Urinating in the shower you save the water used in flushing the. We are all aware that the toilet is one of the household goods that waste the most water. Indeed, every time you flush the toilet, 6 liters of water are removed on average. And knowing that a person urinates an average of 6 times a day, it makes us a total of 36 liters of drinking water lost per day, or 13 140 liters per year.

Maybe that reflection individually, these figures do not pull the alarm but when we take account the entire population of the planet, where it becomes problematic. Thus, urinating in the shower, you save 6 liters per day, or 2,190 liters per year per person.

Moreover, the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, asked the students to make this gesture to protect the planet and avoid the waste of water. Students at the origin of this initiative reassure people disgusted by this practice that there is no health problem, because urine is sterile.

2 – To disinfect wounds:
Among the best-known virtues of urine is its potency. This liquid was used in the past or in default of disinfectant to disinfect wounds. Urine is neutral and not harmful, on the contrary, it would prevent infection.

3 – For skin care:
And if the solution to your eczema was in your bladder? Indeed, the urine is known to be effective for skin problems, including eczema, psoriasis and rashes.

4 – To relieve fungal infections of the feet:
Fungal infections of the feet are an infection caused by fungus that affect the skin or nails of the feet, especially the toes. These fungi are rampant in wetlands. That is why it is always advisable to carefully dry your feet to avoid the appearance of fungal infections. There are several natural remedies to treat fungal infections of the feet, but none of them is easily and quickly accessible as urine.
