3 Ways to Send Whatsapp Messages Without Changing Last Seen

Whatsapp is a free messaging application used by billions of people all over the world to communicate with each other. There have been several updates, and a lot of new features have been added to the existing version. We typically keep track of our friends' and know if they are online or not by checking their last seen. One can quickly notice that at the top of the screen by tapping on that particular person's chat. However, once can simply
disable blue tick marks on Whatsapp but it still your last seen will be visible once message is read.
What not many people know is that we can also send messages without changing the last seen. Last seen changes only when Whatsapp is launched, i.e. when you touch the Whatsapp symbol to open the application.

3 Ways to Send Whatsapp Messages Without Changing Last Seen

But, now one easily send messages to anyone without changing his or her last seen. This feature is available with the some of the old version of Whatsapp & latest update 2.17.22 too. For this to happen, however, your battery saver must be switched off. There's no rocket science rather a small Whatsapp trick which will help you to hide your last seen.

There are three ways to forward Whatsapp messages without changing last seen time as mentioned below.

Method #1 By Turning Off Internet Connection

Simply, follow the step by step mentioned guide below:

  1. Connect to the Internet and receive the incoming messages.
  2. Now, you just need to switch off your mobile internet connection or Wi-Fi.
  3. Send the message to the person you wish to communicate with.
  4. You will notice that the message is not forwarded till yet as there is a clock at the bottom right corner & also you're not connected to the Internet.
  5. Connect to the Internet once again, and you will notice the messages are being been sent while the last seen is the same as when you switched off your mobile data and Wi-Fi.

Method #2 Reply from Notification Bar

There is also another method to send messages. Whenever you receive messages on Whatsapp, your notification bar informs you. Slide down the notification bar, and there you can see the messages.
You can quickly click on the chat to reply. This method is available on both Android and iOS smartphones. The method mentioned above is to send messages manually through Whatsapp.

There are also third party applications which offer the same facility. You can use Google Now for Android phones. Check out the third method described below regarding that.

Method #3 Using Google Now

Tap on the mic icon on your home screen and say the name of your friend and message you want to forward. Google Now will automatically type the message and ask for confirmation. Once you have confirmed the same, the message will be forwarded on Whatsapp, without changing your last seen. The same procedure can be followed by iOS users using Siri. For iOS, open the Notes app and type the message and share using Whatsapp to the selected contact.
