2016 Welcome!

New Year means New Beginning!

A lot of promises are being made and motivation is often on top. People start new healthy habits, perhaps purchase a gym membership or commit to a diet plan, quit smoking etc...

Motivation is almost never a problem in the beginning of the year but most likely a huge problem when a couple of months have passed. Starting a new habit is not difficult, but maintaining a healthy habit is often much harder.

Your attitude is important. If you think it's going to be easy to commit to a completely new lifestyle you will likely find it too difficult and perhaps impossible to reach your goal. If you don't think it's possible, why even try? So you'll quit.

The solution is to set up realistic goals with the attitude that it will take a lot of work. It won't come easy and most important of all, the lifestyle changes are for life not only for a couple of weeks in the beginning of the year.
