Hooray for another tag post! It’s been a while since I last did one, I think? Anyway, here are the questions:
❃ Do you remember your first makeup item?
If not I’m not mistaken, it was a pencil eyeliner. I started using it when I was in 9th grade. Eyeliner on my water line. I felt like there was a point where I looked like an ’emo’ because I overdid it. LOL
❃ Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
My perfect mascara is m L’Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions. It gives me length and volume and holds my curls.
❃ What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?
I’m not really into foundation, but I prefer light to medium coverage whenever I put some on.
❃ Favourite high end brand?
Well, my favorite brand is Too Faced, but I think it’s more of a mid-end brand than high-end. For high-end, it would be YSL.
❃ What cosmetics brands have you always wanted to try but still haven’t?
I’ve always wanted to try some Nars and Hourglass, but I’m not ready to purchase them yet. Maybe some time in the near future.
❃ Favourite drugstore brand?
My favorite drugstore brand would be Maybelline and L’Oreal.
❃ Do you wear fake eyelashes?
I have never worn fake eyelashes, but I do have some in my storage. I don’t have the longest lashes on earth, but I just don’t feel the need to put some falsies. I’m planning on using falsies for an upcoming party though.
❃ Is there any kind of makeup you can’t leave the house without?
Not really. As long as I have my lip balm with me then I’m good to go.
❃ What is your most cherished beauty product?
Eyeshadows, even if I don’t get to use all of it.
❃ How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick an item here and there or do you get lots of goodies all at once?
It really depends. I just buy whenever I feel like buying something. I don’t really do a big haul at once; I prefer to buy a thing or two whenever I’m out.
❃ Do you have a “beauty budget” or spend freely?
No, I don’t, but when I start working full-time, I’ll definitely be setting a beauty budget since I need to divide my pay to pay for other stuff.
❃ What type of product do you buy the most of?
For the past couple of months, it has to be eyeshadow palettes.
❃ Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like paraben or sulfates?
Not really, but i know that I should. For face products, I need them oil-free. I don’t know about the products that I’ve used before, but most of the products that I’m using right now are free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, and some are also cruelty-free!
❃ Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?
Not really a favourite, but I like shopping for makeup products mostly at the drugstore, and sometimes at Sephora.
❃ Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?
I have super sensitive skin so I’m kind of scared of trying new skincare products, so when possible, I try to stick with a routine where I use products that I trust.
❃ Favourite bath and body brand?
Not really a favourite, but I really like Bath & Body Works!
❃ Do you like multifunctional products like lip and cheek stains?
It would be more convenient, but no.
❃ Are you clumsy in putting makeup?
No. I make sure that I put everything right.
❃ Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?
The thought never really crossed my mind, but thinking about it now, sure why not?!
❃ What do you love about makeup?
I love how we can create endless looks without no rules with using makeup products. You don’t have to spend tons of money to end up with a beautiful creation!
