Hello ♡ Two years ago on this day I published my 'About Me' post on this blog. To be honest, I was putting this post off all day. After writing an essay, sleeping, and making chocolate covered pretzels I know what I need to say...Thank you. I never thought I would make it to two years of being a blogger. When I started, I thought I would get bored quickly and quit within five months. In my entire blogging career, I never told myself to stop blogging. I have been putting out posts almost every week and for a while I have been suffering with a hard case of writers block. Writers block has never stopped me from writing a post, it just made it harder for me to write. With a 134 posts later, still here.
It does not even feel like 2013, I still think it is 2012 honestly. I remember when 'Twinkle' by Snsd/TaeTiSeo came out in 2012 and I always think it was last year, but now it is GOING TO BE TWO YEARS. Now 'The Boys' by Snsd is going to be three years ago, crazy right? The first things that pop up when I think of 2013 is 'not-enough'. I think I could of accomplished more this year, but that leaves more room to grow, right? I feel as if I could do more for this blog because it has done so much for me.
Some things that made 2013 memorable: Watching all nine seasons of the office // making it through my first year of high school // Making new blog friends // Pokemon X and Y // Reaching over 500 blog followers // Being featured in Bangstyle.
The most important thing I realized this year is that I want to do more than just high school, college, job, get married, and have kids. I want to go out, be successful, inspire people, and just expand this blog. I always thought I could do more than just be a 'doctor/lawyer'. Sure those are respectable, but I always wanted to follow my dreams of becoming a makeup collection designer. I even started a little book with my ideas and some of the makeup collections I have designed. I already started making a plan to go to NYU to pursue business. I also have other colleges in mind, but more about that later. I want to be not-normal. I want to go outside the box and accomplish more.
It took over four hours to write this post because I really don't know what to say, other than what is in the previous paragraph. Thank you for all the love and support:) the only reason I write posts is is to entertain you. If I lift up your day just a little, then it is all worth it. I hope you join my recent blog giveaway because there are only two weeks left. I hope from here my blog can only keep growing and I think that 2014 is going to be a great year for Townhouse Palette. Expect more from me in the many years to come :)
