11 Signs You Are Experiencing A ‘Lack of Self Care’ Breakdown!

  1. There is a lack of motivation to nurture a GREATER determination!

    If everything seems hard to do, because you are having a hard time finding energy, then it may because you aren’t nurturing yourself. We find it easy to stay in tune with our desires and interests when we motivated from a positive focus. It offers rejuvenation and fresh perspective.

  2. You Lose FOCUS of your priorities.

    In order to NOT lose focus of priority, one must keep your goals before you daily. If you don’t, you are so likely to  forget what was so important about it,  from the beginning.

  3. You STOPPED BEING and continued ‘doing’ to manage life.  If we don’t stop, we fail to  check in with our souls. Our soul needs care. And if we don’t routinely  manage our soul care, we can forget who we really are.

  4. You become soul-weary – You lose  all strength. all endurance and  all hope. Refreshment and pleasure is taken fro granted. There is no more ‘self’, left to share with anyone, at all.

  5. You have totally resolved there are no solutions!

    If you can’t find rest, you can’t find answers. Plain and simple. But some may not want them, cause they cause change to happen.

  6. You forget how to be grateful. Giving thanks should be rudimentary in your life  Gratefulness should be such a part of your life, it makes you  smile everyday. When we forget to give thanks, we forget to align ourselves with agreement about what purpose our lives have to offer.

  7. You forget how “to play” nor  do you understand the need for play as a stress reliever.  

    Play helps you to relax and be yourself. It also teaches you how to stay young  and reward yourself.

  8. You become  desperate, searching and begin to feel discouraged. In desperation we do really demeaning things to ourselves that hurt our soul. We can lose all hope when we fail to find rest and contentment within.

  9. You forget what REST looks like.

    When it’s been so long , you have a hard  time deciding on how to go about receiving it. We forget how to receive when rest disappears from our lives.

  10. You forget how say NO to… Anyone or anything. Everything is yes, and filled with great resentment, because you forget how to set boundaries with yourself and others.

  11. You become numb.  To a social life, to family, to self-actualization. And without self-improvement, there is no growth.
  12. You forget how to receive because you are taking care of others too much. (No Me-Time !)  Self Care , not “other-care”.  The more you become tied up in other’s mess, the more you begin to  lose your sense of self-determination.
