From shooting an uzi to taking on the Stratosphere and catapulting yourself 27 feet off the side of a tower while 109 stories in the air, there’s more to do in Sin City (on and off the strip) than you can possibly imagine.

1. Visit the Neon Boneyard
While the museum is interesting, it’s the Neon Museum Boneyard that makes a visit worthwhile. Effectively, it’s where old a casino signs go to die, and chronicles the changes and trends in sign design and technology.
2. Fly the Grand Canyon
You could spend eight hours on a bus or you could jump on a chopper and fly over Obama’s house, Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon before touching down in the middle of one of the great wonders of the world for some cheese and champagne? Yeah, it’s a no brainer. Not only are phenomenal, but you’ll have more time to work your way through the rest of this list.
3. Visit super clubs and chilled out pubs
Luxury website Luxatic recently put together a list of the Top 20 Best Nightclubs in the World and Hakkasan at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino came in second. Marquee at The Cosmopolitan (8), XS at Wynn (12) and The Bank at The Bellagio (18) also made the cut. If super clubs aren’t your thing, head to Bar at Times Square inside New York New York. A far cry from the glitz and glamour, it’s has a local bar vibe, table service and is home to Vegas’ best duelling piano show. Take some spare cash and have your song requests ready.
4. Shop til you drop
If you’re on a winning streak, head to The Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. Aside from the glitzy Roman-look, giant 50,000 gallon tropical aquarium and restaurants including Sushi Roku, Spago and The Cheesecake Factory, it’s home to some of the biggest names in fashion including Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Valentino, Versace, Gucci and, if you’re getting lucky in more ways than one, Victoria’s Secret. If you’re on your luck, head to the outlets.
5. Say yes to alcoholic slurpees
Two words: alcoholic slurpees. In a 24-hour town like Vegas, drinking on the street is practically encouraged. If you’re the ‘go big or go home’ type, get yourself a plastic yard glass and hang it around your neck for easy access!
6. Admire the fountain at Bellagio
You can’t rob a casino, but you can get your own little slice of Ocean’s Eleven magic without the possibility of jail time by watching the fountains of Bellagio. More than a thousand individual fountains dance to classic, operatic and pop music, sending water soaring up to 460 feet in the air.
7. Get hitched
Keep the good times rolling all the way to a wedding chapel and get hitched in Vegas. With more than 100,000 weddings a year, and costs starting at $120 (license included), it’s no surprise it’s the wedding capital of the world. Even celebrities aren’t immune to the attraction; Britney, Angelina and even Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow did it. Sometimes what happens on Vegas, follows you home.
8. Catch a show (or five)
From Britney to The Beatles LOVE, Celine to Copperfield, Vegas knows how to entertain. Long gone are the days of Zeigfried, Roy and their tigers, these days Vegas is home to JLo, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Elton John, Boyz II Men, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Olivia Newton John. And, if you’re a Cirque du Soleil fan, you may want to brace yourself because there are six shows to choose from (we hear LOVE is the answer!)
9. Play it cool at Minus5
Looking for the coolest experience in sin city? Head to Mandalay Bay or Monte Carlo, throw on a faux fur coat and chill out at Minus5 Ice Bar where everything is made of ice. Whatever you do, don’t lick any of the sculptures or you’ll have a Dumb & Dumber incident on your hands.
10. Row your boat
Don’t expect it to be all ‘gently down the stream’ when you set sail down the Colorado River as it winds its way through the majestic Grand Canyon. If you’re the adventurous type and don’t mind swapping a five-star hotel for millions of the little suckers, sign up for a multi-day tour.
11. Prepare for the zombie apocalypse
Vegas has its very own Zombie Apocalypse Store where you can stock up on everything you’ll need when Doomsday hits. You can even take knife throwing lessons (because they’ll look GREAT on your LinkedIn list of skills) and get yourself a bleeding t-shirt, because nothing says ‘I had a great time in Vegas’ like something that makes you look like the dead extra from CSI.
