Last year I done a Top 10 list of the films that I missed at the cinema before doing my top 10 best and worst of 2012. I found this a good thing to highlight that I only have select films to include in those two lists. You can see the films I have seen at the cinema this year here. I only include actual 2012 films, so my best film list will probably be out in February, I know a lot of people do the lists based on what they have seen but after not doing that when starting my blog I have to follow on with the system I have ended up with!
Anyway here comes my list of my top 10 films I missed (and not happy about) after reading a lot of hype over these films. Many different reasons for not getting to see these films include not having the time to get to the cinema, the cinema only having the film out for a limited time (a week) or that they didn’t actually get released at my cinema at all.
I have used fellow bloggers Top 10 films of 2012 lists to help figure out which films I should have really seen as well!

10. Brave
Let’s face it you have to love a Disney film and I was pretty disappointed that I didn’t get to see this one!
9. Killer Joe
Heard quite a few things about this film and actually seen the rather messed up scene too! But it really does look like a fantastic performance from Matthew McConaughey.
8. Pitch Perfect
Anything with singing and sounding Glee like is something I really should have seen!
7. Ted
While I have now heard mixed things about this film I am still disappointed that I missed it!
6. Salmon Fishing in the Yemen
Now this one just looked pretty cute and I do tend to like Emily Blunt and Ewan McGregor.
5. The Perks of Being a Wallflower
I heard loads about this film . . . Unfortunately by that point it had been and gone at the cinema!
4. Beasts of the Southern Wild
The Oscar nominations for this film have made me disappointed that I missed this one!
3. The Master
Let’s face it the cast in this film are fantastic, plus I love Joaquin Phoenix!
2. Moonrise Kingdom
Another film that I have now heard quite a lot of buzz about!
1. Argo
Now I am the most disappointed about missing this film this year, as pretty sure I had planned on going to see it twice and it just didn’t work out!
From these films that I have picked in my 10 missed from 2012, which ones should I really make the effort to catch up on?
