Thank you so much for making the keto challenge so user-friendly!

I lost 11 pounds (5 kilos) the first week! Plus, I am more alert, my blood sugars have remained in the "normal" range, and I feel inspired to continue on. Even an old lady like me can make positive changes. I have become a member of the Diet Doctor community and look forward to more keto advice and meals. You guys rock!

Hi there,

I think the friendly, non-pushy/demanding atmosphere on your site is important.

I thought the Diet Doctor keto challenge was very informative, easy to read and follow. Also, I think the friendly, non-pushy/demanding atmosphere on your site is important.

I've done the 2-week challenge and feel great. I've a specific new work project followed by a holiday coming up. After that I anticipate taking out a subscription.

Regards,
Richard

Hiya,

I'm Lisa. I'm 56 and I live in Ireland. I started the challenge three weeks ago. It was easier to convince myself to change for two weeks as it was an achievable goal in my sugary lifestyle. By now into my fourth week, I have mental cravings. When I try a sweet or wheaty thing it doesn't taste "right", or even satisfy the craving. That's encouraging for me. For me, it's one day at a time. I'm a home baker. I'm curious to see how that and this keto way of life exist together.

Also, my husband jumped on the wagon. The perfect diet for him; he's a fat (and carb) eater. He's adapted well. And is amazed at how long he's been off the sugar.

The different ideas, suggestions, recipes and the science around it have been a great help. Finding textures of food to substitute is interesting and helpful.

Thank you.

Regards,
Lisa

I'm 27 from Maryland, USA.

I've tried all sorts of diets over the years and they all ended inevitably in failure. Most times, I hit a breaking point right around the two-week mark. Not so with the 2-week keto challenge. The first few days might have been rough, but as the days went on and my body became more adapted, it got easier and easier. I liked the simplicity and deliciousness of the recipes; they definitely kept me going.

I've done other diets in the past that required eons of preparation. With the challenge, the quick recipes fit nicely into my schedule. One unexpected benefit is that I don't feel hungry all the time and it takes much less food for me to feel "full".

It's a comprehensive method of changing your outlook on eating

So far, I've seen amazing results; starting weight 328 pounds (149 kilos), current weight at 314 pounds (142 kilos). The two-week challenge has motivated me to get to my goal weight (180 pounds (81 kilos)) by showing me that the weight loss is achievable and doesn't have to feel like deprivation. Overall, I think the keto challenge is beyond a diet; it's a comprehensive method of changing your outlook on eating.

Thank you,
Allan

My husband and I did the 2-week keto challenge and it was a great success!

We are 61 & 67 years old and from Brisbane, Australia. The meals were so easy to prepare and very tasty. I loved the idea of cooking once a day for dinner and having lunch already prepared for the next day.

I lost 2 kilos (4.5 pounds) and my husband lost 3.5 kilos (8 pounds) and at the end of the 2 weeks, my husband's blood pressure & blood sugar were within normal range (both had been high). I was already convinced of the benefits of a low-carb/keto diet but the food & the blood results have convinced my husband to continue with this way of eating.
