Here I am with the pictures from my recent trip to Udaipur (Rajasthan) - the city of lakes . Udaipur is also called the Venice of the East . Udaipur is a popular tourist destination in India. The lakes, palaces and lively workspaces and culture attract foreign and domestic visitors.This trip had been on my to do list so long but it so worth the wait . The city is so beautiful - crowded and teeming with history . Our resort had a gorgeous view of a very picturesque lake known as Lake Bagela.The decor of the resort was inspired by the gorgeous palaces that the city is so renowned for . I have tried to capture the essence of the city by uploading selected pictures taken by a friend of mine who was with me on this trip . The pictures have turned out so great - she is one hell of a photographer . I dressed up in my Zara dress that I bought last season,for dinner at one of the city's famous restaurants - Raj Baagh. I just love this girly dress and I keep on wearing it for every occasion that demands dressing up or not ;-)).
