KARACHI: Ruling Pakistan People’s Party and opposition Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have principally agreed to appoint Justice (retd) Zahid Qurban Alvi as interim Chief Minister of Sindh. Zahid Quran Alvi, a retired Sindh High Court judge was heart favorite among all the candidates considered for the slot.
A formal announcement is expected in a press conference late in evening. Sindh Assembly is also expected to be dissolved today.
