YOU HAVE TO GO AWAY IN ORDER TO MISS SOMETHING.

Photo from my day out to Dudley Zoo (post coming soon)

Nearly 2 months have managed to creep past without me doing a single blog post. I'm not going to lie and say it's because I've been super busy, truth is I reached a point where I didn't want to be blogging. I know numerous other bloggers have written about how they feel the blogging community is now different and I really do agree, sometimes I get to a point where I just don't want to be apart of it anymore. I love doing my blog, it's given me the opportunity to meet some amazing people and make brilliant friends. I also love that I'm able to express myself and share things with people I never would of necessarily of had an opportunity to otherwise. The community seems to have become a little bitchy and that's not something I have enjoyed being apart of over the past few months. It's horrible to read some of the nasty comments people leave on other blogs that you've looked up to and have loved for so many years. Constructive criticism is always nice and everyone needs it once in a while - but making fun of someone's weight or how bad their skin looks in a photo is just damn right nasty. It's bullying! It's only fair to say that this is only a small minority and all of the blogging community is NOT like that! We support each other and we're friends. We're there to congratulate on how brilliant that photo looks which might of taken a while to set up, we're there to support when someone's blogging about going through a tough time and to laugh along with those photos which were considered an out take. I love that whenever I need a little advise or have a question about something I can just reach for my twitter app and get tweets from people I may not of ever spoken to before, but we all talk like we're helping out a friend. It's nice to be apart of that! This little break away has made me realize that I do miss being apart of the blogsphere and it's also made me remember why I love doing it so much. I think we all need a little break away from things sometimes to realize what it means to us. You may of noticed we've also had a little make over, I've wanted to get my layout tidied up for a while and I absolutely love it. I'm really excited to be back, I've got a few posts planned and can't wait to share them with you all. With Love, Sian xxx
