Xperia Z1: Incredible 20-Mega-Pixels Smartphone From Sony

Possibly one of the most anticipated smartphones at IFA 2013 in Berlin was Xperia Z1, a new smartphone from Japanese company that has enjoyed a great success lately. Many claim this is the best Sony smartphone device so far.

The Sony Xperia Z1 represents a further improvement of the previous Xperia Z, from which it inherited some features. It comes with a 5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, but this time the Japanese manufacturer incorporated a Triluminos panel, the same technology found in Bravia TV, offering a wider palette of colors. Another display feature is X-Reality which analyzes each image and optimizes the quality of HD videos. In terms of the design, Xperia Z1 is very similar to the Xperia Z model. With Sony Omni Balance design and a sturdy aluminum frame this device is very attractive and slim,  measuring 144 x 74 x 8.5 mm and weighing only 170 g.

As for the hardware, we have to admit it is very powerful, thanks to the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. The device provides users with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. Sony Xperia Z1 comes with 3000 mAh battery that provides up to 830 minutes of talk time, 7 hours of video playback and 110 hours of music. The device also supports 4G LTE, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hotspot. One of the main characteristics of Xperia smartphones, including this one,  is the fact they are water and dust resistant according to the IP58 and IP55 certifications.

Xperia Z1 feature that drew a great deal of attention at the IFA 2013 is certainly a the 20.7 mega- pixels camera with Exmor RS 1/2.3 inch sensor, an integrated BIONZ image processor and a goal G Lens with 27 mm wide-angle and f/2.0 aperture. The 3x zoom allows you take pictures without losing any of its quality. The combination of these technologies brings you the same quality and performance as a digital camera. The phone is driven by the latest Android OS version, Jelly Bean 4.2.2, customized with various photographic apps, such as Social Live, Info-eye, Effect AR and others.
